Fire crews attend gorse fires across county

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Fire services were drafted to a number of gorse fires across the county last evening as the dry weather continued.

Crews tackled a blaze in a gorse area in Killimordaly and Attymon area last evening and were stood down at around 10pm.

In the west of the county, fire crews attended a gorse fire in Lettermore.

It was brought under control shortly after 9pm.
