Galway Bay fm newsroom - Emergency services attended a house fire in Athenry overnight.
The blaze broke out in the town around 2a.m and Athenry Fire Service attended the scene.
No-one was injured and fire crews quickly brought the blaze under control.
Meanwhile, fire crews tackled forest and bog fires in the county last night.

A small forest fire broke out at Peterswell, Gort around 9.30p.m while crews also tackled a bog fire in the Oughterard area around 11p.m
No-one was injured in any of the fires.
