Final seat filled in Loughrea

Independent candidate Pat Hynes has taken the final seat in the Loughrea area.

The returning councillor won back his seat on Galway county council in the eight count this evening.

It was a family affair for Cllr. Hynes as his niece Geraldine Donohue was voted into the council in the Kinvara Gort area yesterday.
