Galway Bay fm newsroom - A feasability study for the 'Reimagine Athenry' project is now complete with the findings to be unveiled later this month.
The project is being lead by Dutch company, DMAU and is commissioned by Athenry Community Council and Amicitia, with funding from Galway Rural Development and LEADER.
It aims to identify improvements that can be made to public spaces in Athenry and different uses for heritage buildings.
It's in an effort to realise the town's full potential through connectivity and accessibility - which will allow local businesses to thrive and open spaces for socialisation.
A feasability study, which included public consultation and online surveys, has been undertaken and the findings will be unveiled at Amicitia Social Hub on February 28th.
