Farm safety event to take place in Menlough

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A farm safety event is being held in Menlough this evening.

The event is hosted by the Irish Farmers' Association and takes place at the farm of Michael Owens from 7 to 9 this evening.

Demonstrations will be delivered on haltering cows, the safe use of quad bikes and the prevention of crime.

A farmer will also share his experience of a narrow escape from slurry gases.
