Galway Bay fm newsroom - The family of a young woman involved in a serious crash on Myrehill is raising awareness of the dangers of the N84 from Headford to Shrule.
The recent accident caused the woman's car to spin into a ditch.
Her family reached out to local councillor Andrew Reddington to highlight the dangerous corner that exists on the road which caused the crash.
The Fine Gael councillor says more than ten accidents have occurred at the corner in recent times.
He says works are planned for the area but he's urging the county council to make it a priority before a fatality occurs.
The young driver's family say she was lucky to come out alive but they have assured Galway Bay fm news that she's now fully recovered.
