Galway Bay fm newsroom - Facebook is to hold a privacy check up event in Galway later this week as a study reveals two thirds of Irish adults worry about their privacy online.
The research conducted by One Poll on behalf of Facebook also finds 67% of respondents worry about who is looking at their posts on social media.
Facebook’s privacy checkup aims to facilitate users in tailoring their personal settings to control who sees profile information and which apps and websites are connected to Facebook through a profile.
The coffee-shop hosted check-ups are being offered as part of a national rollout this week in Dublin, Cork and Galway.
The Galway event takes place on Wednesday at Espresso 44 on William Street from 8am to 4pm.
