Galway Bay fm newsroom - Eyre Square Centre in the heart of the city has been named as the overall winner of Galway's bilingual business award.
Minister Seán Kyne announced the winners at the annual Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh ceremony in the Salthill Hotel last night.
The Connacht Hotel won in the 'Tourism & Hospitality' category, while Lorg Media was the winner in the 'Services' category.
Carey Building Contractors won in the 'Other Companies' category while the Eyre Square Centre won in the 'Retail' category and was also named overall winner.
A special award designed to acknowledge a business who has entered the Gradam for the first time and achieved a very high standard was given to Mary's Fish, Ballybane.
PorterShed was presented with a 2-year University Scholarship sponsored by NUIG for making a special effort to promote the use of the Irish language.
