Expensive copper cable stolen from grounds of Merlin Park Hospital

A large quantity of expensive copper cable has been stolen from the grounds of Merlin Park Hospital.

The public is asked to contact the Gardai if offered this item for sale.

Just before midnight on Saturday and 1am on Sunday two building site containers were broken into.

It's possible the copper cable was moved through a field, and out onto the Old Dublin Road.

Anyone in the area who witnessed any suspicious vehicles or people acting in a suspicious manner is asked to contact Gardaí.

Also, anyone who may have dash cam footage is asked to make it available to Gardaí.
