An event is taking place in the city to honour 20 native Irish speakers ahead of the launch of a new video archive.
As part of the project, natives of Eachréidh and An Bruach Thoir were interviewed to capture these unique Gaeltacht areas for future generations.
The event from 7 at the Menlo Park Hotel will offer a taste of the recorded interviews.
Alanagh Ní Ghriofa, who conducted the interviews, says the aim is to document the lives and language of these traditional Gaeltachts.
