Environmental groups to hold ring road protests this week

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway based environmental groups will hold two separate protests against the proposed N6 Ring Road development this week.

The "Get Galway Grooving," demonstrations will take place at 5.30 this evening (03/03) and again on Thursday along the Quincentennial Bridge.

The rush hour demonstrations will feature brightly coloured protestors, who will skateboard, march and walk on footpaths along the bridge - as they hand out information leaflets to commuters.
