Enterprise Ireland’s 2024 end of year results has revealed that the West is the strongest growing region in the country.
Client companies of the agency created over 15,000 jobs last year, which a national increase in employment of three percent.
This figure was higher for the west region at seven percent, while two thirds of the jobs created were outside Dublin.
