Galway Bay fm newsroom - Emergency services are tackling a gorse fire outside Carna.
Units from Clifden and Carraroe fire brigades have been working to bring the blaze under control since the early hours of today.
The fire is concentrated on a hillside area between Carna village and Glinsk.
It's understood it broke out at around 8.30am.
