Galway Bay fm newsroom - Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has released the video for his song, 'Galway Girl', which he filmed here last month and features many landmarks in the city and Salthill.
The video which was published online this morning and has already been viewed almost half a million times.
Viewers can see Sheeran and actor Saoirse Ronan making their way through the streets of Galway from O' Connells pub in Eyre Square down Shop Street to the Spanish Arch.
The video also includes a trad session at O' Connors bar in Salthill before finishing on an aerial shot of Long Walk.
The worldwide star thanks Galway for helping make the video which is set to display the city to millions of his fans across the world.
