A member of East Galway Speakers in Loughrea has won the inaugural District 71 PR Ambassador Award.
Rob Partridge is a member of East Galway Speakers, one of the top performing Toastmasters clubs in the UK and Ireland and was the only Connacht club to be nominated in a recent quarterly awards ceremony.
Rob Partridge along with Kevin O'Reilly designs The Informer, the monthly newsletter of Division F, the geographical area which runs from Derry to Tullamore.
The Club was nominated in two other categories - the Brand Builders Outstanding Community Relations Award, under the headings of impact, partnerships, visibility, sustainability and inclusivity and was also nominated in the Newsletter Excellence Award.
Club members were also recognised for achieving educational awards - Club President, Martin Foran completed his Level 5 Pathway while Rob Partridge and Chris Collins achieved Triple Crown Awards.
Collins was recognised also for completing the Pathways Mentor Programme.
