Galway Bay fm newsroom - Atlantic Technological University and NUI Galway have been awarded a combined total of €6.5 million in funding to make them greener and more accessible.

It'll be used for investment like energy efficiency and decarbonisation upgrades - health and safety works, ICT and equipment upgrades, and univerisal access.
From a national pot worth €40m announced today by Minister Simon Harris, NUI Galway are to recieve just over €2.5m, while ATU will get a boost of almost €4m.
