Dunmore native singer-songwriter Caoimhe Glynn, otherwise known as Reylta, to contest Eurosong Final

24 year old Dunmore native Caoimhe Glynn, otherwise known as Reylta, will be one of six contestents hoping to represent Ireland at the 69th Eurovision Song contest in Basle in Switzerland.

Reylta was announced today as the second of the 6 successful acts out of 300 applications

Her entry and newest song is named 'Fire' and was unveiled today on RTÉ.

She describes her music as "Sweet & lamenting sounds coupled with a complex alternative view providing the ultimate juxtaposition".

Reylta describes herself as being "Deeply connected with Irish traditions and heritage - the poetry, the music, the landscape and the storytelling" and believes these influences have nutured her music.

The local artist released her debut album after much anticipation 'Everything Unsaved will be Lost' in October of 2023.

Reylta will compete against 5 other finalists on the Late Late Eurosong Special on the 7th of February
