There's a high level of dissatisfaction over the amount of funding being awarded to Galway County Council for improving road safety at accident black spots.
Headford-based councillor Andrew Reddington has raised the concern at a recent meeting of the Tuam Area Municipal District.
The Fine Gael councillor claims not enough Government funding is going to Galway under the Low Cost Accident Scheme.
Councillor Reddington told Kevin Dwyer that funding for road safety needs to be increased.
