Galway Bay fm newsroom - A new digital innovation hub is set to open in Spiddal in the coming weeks.
The hubs are designed to encourage job creation, assist remote working and support the Irish language.
The centre is part of a new network of innovation and digital hubs located throughout Ireland's Gaeltacht areas, with three currently in operation in Galway.
The gteic Gréasán Digiteach na Gaeltachta will feature 31 hubs with high speed broadband and 500 hundred hot desk spaces.
Centres are currently operating in Carna, An Cheathrú Rua and Na Forbacha with the Spidéal hub set to open in the coming weeks.
