Fianna Fail TD Eugene Murphy says the support has been withdrawn from new students of St. Anne's School in Merlin Park, while existing students will still have access.

The Galway Roscommon TD says he is currently dealing with a county based family who will now find it impossible for their ten year old son to attend St. Anne's in September due to the withdrawal of the service.

The child, who has been diagnosed with Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD along with severe sensory processing issues and allergies, requires more specialised care than is available in a mainstream school.

Deputy Murphy says that in this case, the child is being discriminated against and denied his constitutional right to a suitable education.
