From Galway Bay FM newsroom- The Department of Education has confirmed there's no funding available to build a sports hall at Seamount College in Kinvara.

Deputy Sean Canney, who received the confirmation in a parliamentary reply, says it's extremely disappointing news.
He argues every secondary school needs to have appropriate facilities to support PE provision.

Deputy Canney says he's asked Minister Norma Foley to meet with a delegation from the school to hear just how urgently this facility is required.
