There's a demand for Transport Minister Eamon Ryan to immediately publish the long-delayed Galway Transport Strategy.
The GTS is a blueprint for the measures needed to tackle transport challenges over the next 20 years.
It was first produced in 2016, but little progress was made, and a review was commenced by the Department of Transport in 2022.
Councillor John Connolly says a draft new strategy is now long overdue but there's still no sign of it being published.

Fianna Fail Councillor Connolly told John Morley that tackling the traffic crisis in Galway just doesn't seem to be considered a priority.
