Galway Bay fm newsroom - The city council's decision to refuse permission to add 9 additional bedrooms to a proposed hotel planned for Dominick Street, has been appealed to an Bord Pleanala.
The first party appeal led by applicant Carroll's Inn Ltd argues the proposed development would not constitute overdevelopment at the site.
The project had set out to develop a fourth floor extension containing 9 additional hotel bedrooms with lounge area, to a previously permitted hotel development.
The extension would be located at numbers 39 and 41 to 43 Dominick Street.
