Galway Bay fm newsroom - County planners are due to make a decision this week on plans for a major holiday home complex on Inis Mór.
Ostán Oileáin Arainn has applied for permission for the construction of 40 chalets at the hotel in Cill Rónáin.
The three star Ostán Oileáin Arainn is a popular tourist stop-off on the Wild Atlantic Way.
The existing hotel has 22 ensuite bedrooms, including five balcony rooms with views of Kileaney Bay and Kilronan Harbour.

The planned development would see the construction of 40 detached freestanding bedroom chalets.
There would also be footpaths and access ways as well as service connections to the existing hotel.
