Galway Bay fm newsroom - An oral hearing on the Compulsory Purchase Order scheme for the Ballinasloe Sewerage project gets underway tomorrow.
The An Bord Pleanala hearing will deal with the Irish Water CPO for the second phase of the scheme.
Phase one of the Ballinasloe Sewerage Scheme got underway in March 2015, and is now complete.
The second stage of the 11 million euro project will get underway in the coming months.
It'll involve the construction of around 2.5 kilometers of sewers and 2.5 kilometers of watermain.
The majority of the pipelines will be installed along streets and roads in and around Ballinasloe Town.
Some sections will travel through private land, which necessitates a CPO.
An oral hearing on the proposed Compulsory Purchase Orders will take place at Gullane's Hotel at 10.30am tomorrow.
