Galway Bay fm newsroom - A Mervue man will go on trial next year charged with the murder of a man in the city last year.
Noel Lenihan of Cardinal Cushing Road Mervue is charged with the murder of 38-year- old Christopher McGrath at Lenihan's Mervue home on March 12th 2017.
The victim, who was a member of Galway City Harriers, was found with fatal stab wounds.
Noel Lenihan has been sent forward for trial at the Central Criminal Court, which is due to get underway on October 8th next year. (2019)
