Damian Browne to be honoured at civic reception in city

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Renowned Galway adventurer Damian Browne is to be honoured at a civic reception in the city on Monday.

The event is hosted by Galway City Council to recognise his extraordinary life achievements.

Renmore man Damian most recently completed a gruelling rowing challenge from New York to Galway, landing back on Irish soil after 112 days at sea.

The civic reception takes place at the Salthill Hotel in Galway on Monday evening at 6.

Mayor of Galway, Councillor Clodagh Higgins says Damian is an incredible inspiration.
