Dáil no-confidence debate hears of elderly man left on trolley at UHG for 7 days

Galway Bay fm newsroom - A local TD raised the issue of an elderly man left on a trolley for UHG for seven days as she voted against the Government in last night's no-confidence motion.

Deputy Catherine Connolly raised the plight of Billy O’Loughlin, whose son Liam speak to Galway Talks about what he called a chaotic "bad dream".

Independent Deputy Connolly voted against the Government, as did local Independent Deputy Michael Fitzmaurice.

Meanwhile, Independent Galway East TD Sean Canney voted in support of the Government - while Galway West Deputy Noel Grealish and Roscommon/Galway TD Denis Naughten were absent.

Deputy Connolly said she can not support a Government that is not for the common good
