The Cuan Beo group in Kinvara is celebrating a National Heritage Award.
Its event 'Cuan Beo Weekend of Marine Heritage Themed Events on Kinvara Quay' won the 'Sustainability and Climate Heritage' category.
Milltown Community Council and Heritage Group, Athenry Castle and Galway City Council were runners up in other categories of the competition.
