Galway Bay fm newsroom - The President of Croatia will visit the city tomorrow (05/04).
It's part of a State visit to Ireland which will also include a visit to Áras an Uachtaráin with President of Ireland Michael D Higgins.
President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic will visit Galway city tomorrow morning.
Her itinerary begins with a civic reception with Mayor Noel Larkin and councillors at City Hall.
This will be followed by a tour of the Galway 2020 Community Hub - President Grabar-Kitarovic is a native of Rijeka, which will jointly hold the title of European Capital of Culture with Galway in 2020.
Later, there will be a meet and greet with students at NUI Galway.
The schedule will conclude with a food demonstration to mark the European Region of Gastronomy 2018.
OPW Minister and Galway East TD Sean Canney will represent the government during President Grabar-Kitarovic's visit to Galway.
