Covid issues forces deferral of Tuam's first Mart of 2022

Galway Bay FM Newsroom - Tuam Mart has announced that they are deferring their first sheep sale of 2022 in light of the rising number of Covid-19 cases over the past week.

In a statement released on their Facebook page, the Mart said "In the interest of staff and customer safety we have decided to postpone our opening sheep sale this Tuesday until the week after. Apologies for any inconvenience caused."

The Mart has confirmed to Galway Bay FM News that the Sheep sale will now take place on Tuesday the 11th of January at 5pn and their opening Cattle sale will be held on Monday the 17th starting at 11am.

They have also confirmed that the Mart Store will open on Saturday morning and not tomorrow as originally scheduled.
