County towns left out of new broadband for business scheme

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Galway's county towns have been left out of a new government scheme to give high speed broadband to smaller businesses.

The free connection is designed to give struggling companies a chance in remote areas of the country.

The government says the scheme has the potential to create thousands of jobs.

However, Galway's county towns have not been selected to benefit from the initiative.
