Councillors to call on Bus Éireann to examine alternative locations for problem bus stops

Galway County Councillors are to call on Bus Eireann to examine alternative locations for problem bus stops around the county.

A proposal at this week's meeting of the Loughrea Municipal District has requested a Bus Eireann representative attend the September meeting of the full council to examine problem stops across Galway.

Traffic disruptions during pick ups and drop offs was the main issue raised by councillors this week at certain problem bus stops.

Councillor Michael Moegie Maher, who proposed the issue, says it effects towns and villages across Galway.
