Councillors in Tuam have approved a budget of almost €8m for the Tuam area for next year.
It's a boost of almost half a million euro when compared to the budget for 2024.
The plan was passed with a number of amendments, which included extra funding for street cleaning and cemetery maintainence.
Those changes were proposed by Fianna Fail Councillor Mary Hoade - who believes it's money well invested.
