An apparent lack of zebra crossings on the south side of the Western Distributor Road was a key focus at a meeting at City Hall this week.
Councillor Donal Lyons said there are several crossings on the northern side - and he cannot understand why it's not replicated on the opposite side.
Councillor Lyons says there is a type of crossing at one location - but it's not the right kind, and more of them are needed.
