Councillor claims extortionate price of alcohol driving people to use drugs

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A Galway County Councillor says a national debate is needed about what he describes as the exortorinate price of alcohol.

Councillor Peter Roche told todays meeting of the County Galway Joint Policing Authority that he fear the cost of alcoholic beverages is driving people to use illegal drugs instead.
