Councillor calls for greener approach to city planning

Councillor Pauline O'Reilly says Galway should follow in the footsteps of other modern European cities and implement a balance of liveable, walkable and cycle friendly spaces.

The Green Party councillor says community interaction is a vital part of the process in shaping city planning.

She's highlighted the work being done by the Woodquay community to shape their green space as an example of innovative green planning.
