Council seeks contractor to provide welfare units for Travellers at Carrowbrowne

Galway Bay fm newsroom - The tender contract for the supply and installation of Traveller welfare units at Carrowbrowne halting site has been published by the city council.

The contract advertised is for 13 new welfare units at the Headford Road site.

The contract states that all welfare units must be robust, made of galvanised steel construction for long-life durability and must be secure with a heavy-duty walls, doors and roof.

The deadline for tender submissions to Galway city council is September 9th.
