Council hopes to repair Briarhill traffic lights by this evening

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Traffic lights at a major junction in the city are expected to be back up and running by this evening.

The lights at Briarhill were damaged in a collision early on Saturday and have been out of order since.

Traffic management measures were put in place by the city council over the weekend, reducing approch routes to one lane.

All routes inbound were opened fully this morning (15/4) with the help of gardaí on point duty.
