Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Corrib Shopping Centre in the city has gone on the market for €18.5m.
The centre, which fronts onto Eyre Street close to Eyre Square, is currently anchored by Sports Direct and Marks and Spencer.
The centre is being offered by US investment fund Marathon Asset Management, which also recently brought the Eyre Square Shopping Centre to the market.
According to the Irish Times, the sale of Corrib Shopping Centre includes a long leasehold interest in the multi-storey car park, for which a profit-share structure is in effect.
The current occupancy rate is 99 percent and the total rent amounts to over €1.8m a year, reflecting a yield of 9 percent.
