Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Director General of the Construction Industry Federation is to officiate at the launch of a new traineeship in the city tomorrow (10/03).
Tom Parlon will be among the delegates to attend the unveiling of the Interior Systems Traineeship Programme at Castle Ceilings in Parkmore.
The Diploma in Interior Systems is being run in conjunction with the Galway Roscommon Education and Training Board.
It will offer focused training for 20 students in the areas of dry line finishing, ceiling fixing and partitioning.
The course will be delivered in three stages comprising seven weeks off-the-job training and 38 weeks on-the-job training.
Castle Ceilings also hopes to be able to offer opportunities for employment to trainees who have shown the neccesary initiative.
The launch takes place at the Castle Ceilings base in Parkmore at lunchtime on tomorrow.
