A Connemara bus shelter project has taken home the top prize at Age-Friendly Transport Awards.
The project was named overall winner and is designed to improve accessibility and user comfort.
It involved the shelters being re-orientated to protect people from the harsh westerly winds.
The awards is organised by Age Friendly Ireland and is sponsored by the Department of Transport.
