Concerns over level of social housing in new Gort estate

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Concern was expressed at this week's meeting of Galway County Council over the future use of a new housing estate being developed in Gort.

Councillor P J Murphy said there are suggestions the County Council wants to buy all 138 houses to accommodate people on the housing list.

Our reporter Máirtín O Cathain asked what evidence he had to suggest the Council wanted to buy the housing estate.
