Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Housing Agency Regulatory Authority has told Tuam councillors it has no remit in relation to tenancy agreement over an estate in the town.
It's after councillors raised concerns over ongoing anti-social behaviour at the Cúirt na Córa development.
The council estate has been taken over by Steer housing agency.
In a written response to Tuam Municipal District, the Housing Agency Regulatory Authority confirmed it was working with Steer but had no remit over tenancy agreement.
Fianna Fail councillor Donagh Killilea says the anti-social behaviour issues have been going on too long and need to be addressed.
