Concerns over City Council's use of contract workers

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Concerns are being raised over the City Council's 5 million euro bill for contract workers.

The local authority's 2017 financial statement reveals that the council has a salary and wage bill of almost 20 million euro - with a further 5.2 million euro paid out to contract workers last year.
