Galway Bay fm newsroom - Corporate law firm LK Shields is adding fifteen solicitors' positions at its new Galway office.
The office at Dock Road in the city opens this week with five solicitors with plans to expand to the full 15 over the next 18 months.
Chairman of LK Shields and Galway native Michael Kavanagh says they are expanding to Galway due to growing economic opportunities in the west.
To mark the opening LK Shields is creating an award in partnership with NUIG for students of Intellectual Property Law, honouring former Managing Partner Hugh Garvey who passed away in 2016.
