Coastline search continues for two girls missing after paddle-boarding at Furbo beach

Galway Bay fm newsroom - Gardai and the Coastguard are continuing their search this morning for two girls who went missing after they entered Furbo beach on paddle boards last evening.

The Rescue 115 from Shannon and the Rescue 118 from Sligo searched various areas of Galway Bay overnight after the alarm was raised.

The Aran Lifeboat, Galway lifeboat and Costelloe Bay unit teams have all been involved in the ongoing search.

Rescue 115 from Shannon has been focusing on the waters around Salthill and Barna this morning.
