Claims taxpayer "not getting value for money" on recent city infrastructure projects

Galway Bay fm newsroom - There are claims the taxpayer is "not getting value for money" when it comes to recent infrastructure projects in Galway City.

Councillor Alan Cheevers says the tendering and procurement process at Galway City Council needs to be seriously examined and overhauled.

He's concerned about the thinking behind what represents best value for money from public funding.
