The recently completed affordable housing scheme in Claregalway is anything but affordable.
That’s according to Sinn Féin councillor Louis O’Hara, who made the claim at a recent meeting of the County Council.
The cheapest property in the scheme could cost more than €300,000 - and the Athenry/Oranmore councillor says that’s unrealistic for most first-time buyers.
