Galway Bay fm newsroom - An information workshop on a new angling fund will take place in the city in the coming weeks.
Inland Fisheries Ireland has announced a new 2 million euro fund for angling projects and conservation initiatives.
Applications are being invited from groups, associations, clubs, and local authorities.
The funding call aims to help ensure that Ireland’s fish stocks and angling infrastructure are protected and enhanced into the future.
The Galway workshop will take place at the Menlo Park Hotel at 7pm on Wednesday the 6th of September.
